ECONOMIC & COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OFFICER - TRAINEE A traineeship with Griffith City Council will provide you with the opportunity to complete a qualification while learning skills in the local government sector under the guidance of Council staff and a training provider. The Economic & Community Development Officer will provide administrative and marketing assistance with the implementation of programs in Economic & Community Development. The successful applicant will be involved in developing and leading programs for young people, the community and making a difference to the community of Griffith. This exciting opportunity will appeal to those seeking a full-time fixed period of employment in 2026, while gaining qualification in Business or Marketing. Qualifications: The successful applicant will require a current NSW Working with Children Check and a current Australian Class C Driver License. Please include copies of all relevant licenses and qualifications with your application. To be considered for this position applicants must have a Working with Children Check Clearance Number for employment screening purposes if over 18 years of age. Skills & Knowledge The successful applicant will require experience with digital marketing and use of marketing applications and other software, also experience in delivering events, projects or programs. Work Details Hours of work: 35 hours per week. Salary and conditions: Commencement annual salary range from $67,212.60 to $73,934.12 (Grade 8) Plus Superannuation.
