About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Transport Company Manager to oversee daily operations, coordinate logistics, manage staff, and ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of services. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high operational standards, compliance, and customer service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day transport operations, scheduling, and fleet management
• Lead and manage a team of drivers, offsiders, and operational staff
• Ensure compliance with WHS, company policies, and transport regulations
• Liaise with customers and suppliers to ensure service efficiency and satisfaction
• Monitor budgets, costs, and performance targets
• Drive process improvement and operational efficiency
Skills & Experience:
• Proven experience in furniture removal industry
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Sound knowledge of transport regulations and compliance requirements
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Intermediate computer and reporting skills
