In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering exceptional claims service, analysing policy coverage, and expertly managing the investigation, evaluation, and negotiation of a variety of cases.If you’re passionate about making a real impact and thrive in a collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you**Your new role*** Stay up to date with insurance guidelines and policy changes, ensuring compliance.* Resolve non-compliant issues and escalate when necessary to maintain standards.* Build strong client relationships, responding to requests promptly and professionally.* Process property claims, determine coverage, and ensure accurate settlements.* Set reserves, authorise payments, and efficiently manage claim resolutions.* Identify and report suspicious claims, while maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders and adhering to confidentiality guidelines.**About you*** Previous claims officer experience general insurance claims experience (property is highly advantageous)* Excellent customer service experience with a passion to grow and develop into a property insurance professional* A strong focus on customer service with the ability to build rapport over the phone and handle varying customer expectations and demands* A highly empathetic approach to dealing with customers, possessing the ability to be friendly yet professional* Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills* Can do attitude**About QBE**We can never really predict what’s around the corner, but at QBE we’re asking the right questions to enable a more resilient future – helping those around us build strength and embrace change to their advantage.
