This role requires maintaining high standards of service for both internal and external customers while adhering to safety and operational procedures. Additionally, the Material Handler may operate a forklift to transport various goods and materials within the facility. **Responsibilities:*** Unload incoming shipments and verify contents against the bill of lading and packing list.* Engage with purchasing and other departments to resolve discrepancies in packing lists.* Conduct inspections and identify damaged goods as needed.* Accurately record received materials in the appropriate purchase orders and ensure system (ERP) updates.* Verify the accuracy of outbound shipments and ensure proper packaging to prevent damage.* Handle document filing and archiving as required.* Follow all warehouse processes while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.* Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.* Assist in pulling and stocking parts from storage to meet production demands.* Perform other duties as assigned. **Requirements:*** High school diploma (HS Diploma) or GED with few years of relevant experience.* Previous experience in forklift operation.* Forklift certification.* Ability to work occasional overtime.* Good computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.* Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment with frequent product changeovers.* Willingness to learn and cross-train in different functions as needed.* Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying materials, while following workplace safety guidelines. **Preferred Experience / Skills:*** Strong communication and interpersonal skills.* Familiarity with ERP systems and warehouse management software.* High attention to detail.
