Overview

Reporting into the Warehouse Supervisor – Inventory Control, the Store person will join our Inventory Control team on a permanent full-time basis at our Guildford location. This role involves completing daily tasks such as stock/location management, inventory movement, cycle counting, Radio Frequency (RF) scanning, forklift operating and processing customer order data into the Warehouse Management Systems.

Department Overview

Parts Distribution Centre (PDC). Our 24/7 PDC holds 75K Cat® product lines, shipping 300K lines/month. We use the DEMATIC system for 18K+ small parts, and provide rack and yard storage, hose-building, parts inspection, pick-packing, and customer pickups with multiple WMS for accurate deliveries.

Roster

Monday - Friday 8.5 hours/day (including meal break)

What You’ll Do

- Inventory management
- Stock rotation/relocation
- Warehouse set-up and projects
- General system problem solving and troubleshooting
- Process efficiency reviews

Skills & Experience

- Forklift Licence and Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role will guide you to success
- Positive attitude with great attention to detail
- Computer literacy - inclusive of MS Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with SAP (Desirable)
- Customer service experience (Desirable)
