Senior Document Controller | Infrastructure SA
We are seeking an experienced Senior Document Controller to support major Infrastructure projects throughout South Australia. This role is critical in managing project documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficient project delivery.
About the role
Responsibilities
- Document Management: Oversee centralised physical and digital systems, ensuring proper distribution, metadata application, and version control.
- Document Coordination: Manage workflows, approvals, and communication to meet timelines and ensure seamless documentation flow.
- Compliance & Quality Control: Enforce standards, maintain audit trails, and ensure compliance with legal and contractual requirements.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main contact for document queries and resolve issues or discrepancies.
- Archiving & Reporting: Manage data retention, handover processes, and provide regular status reports.
- Technology Management: Utilise and troubleshoot document control tools like Aconex, Asite, or SharePoint.
Qualifications
- Preferred qualifications: degree or diploma in business administration, civil engineering, construction management, or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in document control or records management, ideally within infrastructure, construction, or engineering on large-scale projects.
- Proficiency with document management tools like Aconex, Asite, or SharePoint and MS Office Suite.
- Highly detail-oriented, strong organisational and time‑management skills, able to work independently and balance multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate with teams, stakeholders and clients, and adept at troubleshooting and resolving document-related issues.
