About the Role

The Fraud Detection Lead exists to support the Personal Injury Investigations team’s execution to evaluate and prioritise investigation of insurance claims for potential fraud in Suncorp Insurance. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely, relevant, and accurate assessment of fraud alerts, using advanced detection tools and methodologies to support business understanding and outcomes relating to insurance fraud.

What You'll Do

- Support the business in design and improvement across our existing automated fraud control measures

- Support the business to identify control weaknesses and advising on rectifications

- Lead the PIC Fraud Detection function, providing direction, feedback, and support

- Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement

- Ensure team members are informed, engaged, and contributing to shared goals.

What You'll Bring

- An understanding of the industry and department

- Fresh Perspective and an abundance of relevant experience

- Applied experience in fraud detection, fraud analysis, insurance investigations and investigation teams, or case management functions

- Ability to effectively lead a program of work, assign tasks, set priorities, and optimise resource allocation for efficient operations.

- A flexible and adaptable approach to job requirements

- Ability to travel if required

- Able to work from the office a minimum of two (2) days per week.
