Senior Maintenance Planner

We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team who shares our vision of building a sustainable and profitable major Australian gold business.**THE WESTGOLD OFFER*** **Full-time, permanent position** with a competitive salary and attractive benefits package* **A family friendly roster** to suit your lifestyle – 8 days on, 6 days off* **Flexible employment options** including FIFO, DIDO, and residential opportunities in Kambalda & Kalgoorlie* **Modern, well-equipped camp** featuring ensuite rooms, sports courts, and fully equipped gym to keep you comfortable and active while away from home* **A growing company** that’s supports employee’s development**THE ROLE*** Plan and coordinate the maintenance of all Beta Hunt’s mining equipment and infrastructure.* Develop maintenance strategies, as well as schedule, coordinate, and monitor the maintenance of all mobile and fixed plant equipment.* Work with the Senior Maintenance Planners to safely, efficiently and cost effectively maintain all assets.* Organise schedules/work orders for the maintenance team inclusive of mobile maintenance, fixed plant, and electrical assets.* Organise parts and labour needed in a timely manner for future works, contractor labour and offsite repairs.* Analyse the risk of equipment failure, undertake performance measurement and ensure that maintenance costs are kept as low as possible.**WHAT DO I NEED*** Current “C” Class Manual Western Australian driver’s licence.* Valid and relevant trade qualifications, certificates, and licences.* Minimum 5 years’ mechanical maintenance experience in an underground mining environment.* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Maintenance Planner role or similar role.* Experience with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as Pronto (desired).* Proficient computer skills & literacy, particularly across the MS Office suite.* Strong experience with controlling maintenance costs and expenses.* A can-do, team-oriented attitude.* Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment.* Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable.* Excellent communication skills.* Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.**The Westgold Offer:** A permanent full-time position at a successful gold producer **A range of benefits including:*** Performance based bonus* Group salary continuous insurance* A health and wellness allowance Health insurance discount* A range of Family and Medical leave policies that includes IVF, surrogacy and adoption.* Referral Bonus - bring your mates along* 5 years' pro rata long service leave* Salary sacrifice options* Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that include free confidential counselling, wellbeing services that includes financial advice.Our full list of benefits and why we are recognised as an Endorsed Employer for Women by Work 180 can be seen on the Work180 website.Westgold is driven by our core values of Show Respect, Choose Safety and Deliver Value.
