Overview
Division Director – Global Regulatory Reporting Lead based in Sydney, and lead a team responsible for ensuring Macquarie has appropriate frameworks, processes and controls in place to manage regulatory requirements globally.
At Macquarie, our advantage is bringing together diverse people and empowering them to shape all kinds of possibilities. We are a global financial services group operating in 31 markets and with 56 years of unbroken profitability. You’ll be part of a friendly and supportive team where everyone - no matter what role - contributes ideas and drives outcomes.
What role will you play?
As the Global Regulatory Reporting Lead, you will manage a team focused on designing, implementing and maintaining the regulatory reporting framework, incorporating associated processes, controls and governance to ensure Macquarie manages its regulatory reporting risk across jurisdictions. You will build strong Line 2 advice capability within the team, supporting Macquarie’s businesses globally with respect to regulatory reporting matters, including the timely investigation and resolution of exceptions as part of incident and issues management. This will involve ensuring adequate structures and governance are in place for incident and issues management, appropriate escalation and associated reporting of performance metrics.
You will also work closely with Macquarie’s businesses on change management initiatives driven by regulatory change or Macquarie’s strategic priorities, liaising closely with internal and external stakeholders in delivery against these objectives. You will attend and actively participate in relevant Steering Committees as well as external industry forums and working groups as necessary.
What you offer
- Proven leadership experience in Compliance, Regulatory Reporting and/or risk management
- Extensive experience delivering key programmes of work, along with practical and commercial understanding of compliance frameworks and governance gained within an international financial institution or financial services firm
- Deep subject matter expertise in regulatory reporting, coupled with a strong risk and control mindset
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to synthesise information to identify themes and priorities for leaders.
What we offer
