Senior Manager - Strategy & Consulting, Cyber Security
Reporting to the Director – Strategy & Consulting, responsible for leading a team of Strategy & Consulting specialists and acting as a trusted cyber security advisor to senior stakeholders in Australia's largest organisations.

The Senior Manager actively contributes throughout the engagement lifecycle, from identifying and qualifying opportunities, to delivery, managing engagement commercials and closure, in addition to ongoing management of client relationships. This is achieved by leading a team of Strategy & Consulting consultants and through building client trust by communicating with influence, planning and executing with excellence, and contributing deep cyber security knowledge.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Evaluate customers' business needs and advise on strategic cyber security planning
- Manage all, or part of, a relationship with customers, including change management, account planning, and development of key relationships to lead to follow-on work
- Manage engagement teams, including project scoping and definition, work plan development and implementation, meeting preparation and facilitation, and project management
- Contribute to market development and offering development activities to grow the practice and create client value
- Contribute to the management of engagement financials to support sustainable and profitable client delivery
- Plan and coordinate the resources necessary to complete product implementation and preparation of major strategic proposals
- Perform rigorous analysis to identify potential value creating opportunities, developing cohesive conclusions, and presenting key findings at the executive level
- Identify, recommend, and establish innovative service offerings and ways to improve existing approaches through analysis and consultation; foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Actively collaborate across CyberCX, facilitating communication, partnerships, and cross-pollination to better engage and service customers
- Lead, coach, and build high performing teams to enable learning, development, and capability uplift; understand each team member's skills, drivers, and aspirations; develop career progression plans
- Enhance team effectiveness by owning issues and goals, creating a culture of empowerment, collaboration, and accountability
- Meet individual financial objectives and utilisation

Preferred Qualifications, Experience & Skills

- Experience working for a global consulting firm or large technology company in cyber security, ideally with exposure to privacy, data management, or strategic risk
- Bachelor or master’s degree in cyber security, business administration, accounting, finance, information systems, computer engineering or related field
- Experience coaching, mentoring, and leading others to build capabilities and deliver high quality outcomes for customers
- Track record of delivering impactful client outcomes through high-quality delivery and effective team management
- Strong strategic mindset and understanding of how engagements fit into a broader business context
- Experience identifying opportunities and helping qualify and sell engagements
