Role — The Guest Services Attendant reports to the Assistant Services Manager and promotes positive customer relationships while assisting with queries related to The Star Sydney (Car Park) in a courteous and efficient manner. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a new era for our Transport, Front Office & Concierge team.

Responsibilities

- Adhere to all cash handling procedures, and record all cheque, money and room charge transactions in the MICROS system in accordance with policy and procedure

- Assist the Guest Services Manager to maintain daily reconciliation and accounting records, retail sales trends and reports, and provide performance reports as required

- Complete carpark validation functions, program carpark vouchers and validate access cards. Walking the Car Park to do Car Park checks

- Advise your leader of any equipment faults to ensure minimum system downtime and report any customer requests for assistance such as vehicle breakdowns to Security staff

Qualifications and Experience

- Exposure in a Hospitality environment

- Experience in customer service role

- Verbal and written communication skills

With a keen attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure, you consistently provide guests with a seamless experience from the moment they arrive at The Star Sydney. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our Transport, Front Office & Concierge department at The Star Sydney.
