University Hospitals of North Midlands is currently unable to provide sponsorship for this role. Bank Pathology Courier
An opportunity has arisen within the Pathology Directorate. We are looking to recruit Bank Pathology Couriers within the Pathology Department.
The post holder will be required to be available on request to cover annual leave and other absences of the Pathology Courier staff.
Main duties of the job
The post holders will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a current driving license. They will be able to work to a tight schedule and must have a good knowledge of the North Staffordshire area.
The post holder's role will be to provide cover for absences of the Pathology couriers on a bank/zero hours contract.

Person Specification
Knowledge and Experience
- Experience of working in a team and alone
- 2 Years driving experience
- Has experience in courier / delivery driving in the North Staffordshire area
- Basic car maintenance and record keeping.
Skills and Ability
- Work under pressure, prioritise workload and work to deadlines
- Communicate effectively and accurately with all levels of staff
Personal Qualities
- Prepared to work flexibly including participating in weekend and other rotas as necessary
- Understanding the importance of confidentiality and data quality
