About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate and detail-oriented Motor Claims Consultant to join our dynamic claims team. In this role, you’ll manage Motor claims from end to end, working across a diverse portfolio that includes both intermediated and direct customers.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service. You’ll play a key role in ensuring claims are handled efficiently, professionally, and in line with compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Accurately assess and manage Motor claims in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Handle claims efficiently within agreed workflow timeframes and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Proactively manage claim lifecycles through diary management and vendor coordination (e.g., repairers, assessors).
- Respond to customer complaints and expressions of dissatisfaction with empathy and professionalism.
- Manage incoming call enquiries, providing clear and timely support to customers and stakeholders.
- Conduct regular claims reviews and assist with overflow claims from other sub-teams as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

- 3–5 years of experience in Motor claims handling.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to adapt communication to different customer groups.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proven time management and organisational skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the insurance industry.
- Experience working with external vendors such as repairers, assessors, and brokers.
