Overview
We are currently searching for an inspiring Visual Merchandising Coordinator to join the team. This role is a maternity leave cover, full time until January 2026, and will require some travel between our stores both locally and interstate.
At Assembly Label, we're building a team of collaborative entrepreneurs, collectively working for a company with a shared vision and open culture. Why we will love you
To be successful in the role you will have experience in using VM to create compelling brand environments, and you have expertise in using commercial VM techniques to drive conversion, ATV and IPT. You have the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships, and you are also confident in training, and seeking and providing feedback. You will have experience in design software to communicate proposals and directives. You are resilient, transparent and have an innate drive to achieve a collective result. You are collaborative, enthusiastic and welcome feedback. We are searching for people who reflect our core behaviours of hungry, humble and smart.
What's in it for you?
- Fantastic opportunity for learning, growth and development.
- Quarterly paid mental health day to focus on your wellbeing.
- A generous staff discount.
- An inclusive, fun and diverse team culture.
- A dog friendly office
Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting all Assembly Label retail stores in the execution of VM directives by providing clear feedback and direction.
- Responsible for creating seasonal VM guidelines and directives for all stores in collaboration with the National Visual Merchandising Manager.
- Accountable for the maintenance of brand guidelines and visual standards within the bricks and mortar stores to maintain a consistent brand experience which reflects the vision, mission and values of the brand.
- Responsible for onboarding new retail team members to brand standards and VM guidelines, as well as ongoing support and training to the existing retail team.
- Responsible for identifying knowledge and skill gaps within the team and conducting relevant training to support continued success of the retail stores.
- Responsible for coaching and delivering timely feedback to retail staff to empower them to manage their commercial opportunities through VM, option count management and brand compliance at a store level.
- Responsible to develop strategies to achieve and increase shopfront conversion benchmarks.
- Responsible for analysing data, reporting on relevant results and executing strategies to influence a positive commercial outcome.
- Responsible for being a brand ambassador, leading by example, performing consistently as a key member of the retail team and embodying the Vision, Mission and Values of Assembly Label at all times.
