At our brand new Cancer Care Manning Great Lakes site, we are interested in hearing from a dedicated and experienced Medical Administrator to support our passionate and dynamic team in delivering high-quality cancer care services to the local community. As part of a patient-centric organisation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional care for our patients.

We invite applications from experienced Medical Receptionists / Administrators who are ready to take the next step in their careers with a permanent, full-time role at newest site in Taree, NSW.

What’s Involved

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with experience in oncology or radiation therapy administration. In this collaborative environment, your responsibilities will include:

- Patient liaison: Welcoming patients, answering calls, managing correspondence, and scheduling appointments.

- Patient administration: Billing, accurate data entry in our e-management system (Mosaiq), and managing records.

- Liaising with hospitals, specialists, and allied health professionals.

- Supporting doctors, coordinating with nurses, and assisting allied health staff in delivering patient care.

Who You Are

- Demonstrated ability to work with empathy and compassion.

- Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.

- Experience in a hospital or day hospital setting is desirable.

- Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment.

What You Bring

- Experience in a medical practice or oncology setting is highly regarded.

- Familiarity with Medicare, DVA, and Private Health Insurance.

- Excellent organisational and time management skills.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to use multiple software systems and proficient in Word and Excel.

- Knowledge of medical terminology.

- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
