About the position

This award winning crew is casting a line out for an enthusiastic and customer focused Food and Beverage leader to excel in our Restaurant Supervisor position.

This full time opportunity is responsible for providing our guests with exceptional experiences; essential accountabilities include:

- Set restaurant in line with booking requirements and customer requests
- Break down and cleaning of restaurant
- Assist with rostering requirements and shift coverage
- Provide staff training to new team members and assist with current staff development plans
- Supervise and manage staff on shift
- Resolve customer complaints
- Prepare and serve barista standard coffee
- Prepare and serve beverages; including cocktail and presentation of wine
- Facilitate room service, taking orders and delivery
- Follow RSA government legislation requirements
- Maintain cleanliness front of house areas
- Set up and break down of Function and Events on site
- Oversee and manage daily open and closing procedures

This position will require availability for split shifts for breakfast, lunch and dinner service across a 7 day rotating roster. Our seasonal peaks run through summer, public holiday and school holiday periods, availability during seasonal peaks is essential.

Certifications required: RSA

This role will require you to complete a criminal check prior to your appointment to the position (cost covered by Wests).

About you
We are seeking passionate senior Food and Beverage professionals with fine dining experience. Good knowledge of wine or exposure to presenting wine in a restaurant setting will be highly regarded. You will have exceptional customer service skills, a positive and enthusiastic attitude, and the ability to retain your high standards in a busy and demanding position. Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to provide guidance and mentoring to staff is essential to the success of this position.
