Collaboration, craftsmanship, and continuous learning sit at the heart of their culture.The RoleReporting to the Head of Front-End Engineering, you’ll join a cross-functional squad of designers, product owners, and back-end engineers to build performant, secure, and accessible web applications for a portfolio of tier-one clients. You’ll own front-end architecture decisions, champion best practice, and mentor mid-level developers while remaining hands-on with code.Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement responsive user interfaces withHTML, CSS/SCSS, and modern JavaScript(React, Vue, or Angular)
- Optimise performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility for enterprise-grade applications
- Contribute to solution architecture alongside UX, DevOps, and backend teams
- Enforce clean code principles, automated testing, and robust CI/CD pipelines
- Stay current with emerging front-end trends and advocate for continuous improvement across projects
- Guide and up-skill junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
Ideal Candidate
- 3 + years’ commercial front-end experience delivering large-scale web applications
- Deep expertise inReact, Vue, or Angular, plus solid TypeScript knowledge
- Comfortable with Git, CI/CD, containerised workflows, and Agile delivery
- Appreciation for design systems, component libraries, and accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Clear communicator who can translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Passion for elegant UI, performance tuning, and engineering excellence
- Mandarin, Chinese Speaker
