The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Business Analyst to join the Business Analysis team in supporting the delivery of product features across the AP+. As the Senior Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring that product requirements are well documented for development by the cross functional development teams, acting as the conduit between the product management and development teams, and contributing to the consistency and quality of the AP+ business analyst practice.

Proposed Position Responsibilities are:

- Ensure business analysis standards are maintained.
- Perform capability analysis to identify key business capabilities and isolate areas of potential improvements
- Perform gap analysis to ensure continued 100% coverage of requirements.
- Consult with product owners and product managers to identify solution options to new business requirements.
- Consult with product owners and product managers to identify how changing business requirements may be delivered with existing solutions.
- Analysis and design of operational processes and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), including feasibility assessment with affected Participants and internal stakeholders and developing supporting documentation.
- Produce appropriate functional and non-functional specs (such as in the form of user stories for different personas, wireframes, epics) for product changes and enhancements.
- Prepare training material and assistance to end customers.
- Undertake/support user acceptance testing and “walk in the shoes of the end customer”.
- Develop BA adaptive tools, processes, templates, etc.
- Undertake other duties as directed by the Lead Business Analyst or delegated representative

The capabilities we’re seeking are:

- Experience in B2B Payments, B2C Payments and Bulk payments
- Experience with NPP scheme rules, operations or equivalent.
- Proven strong ability to converse with a diverse range of external and stakeholders including participants, legals, compliance and regulatory bodies.
- Experience in ISO 20022/NPP
- Experience with payment vendor applications (e.g. FIS, Swift and paytec)
- Proven experience in a Business Analyst role.
- Use of Waterfall or agile methodologies.

- Expert knowledge of:

o Payments industry

o Account to account payment Products

o Bulk Credit Transfer

- Detailed understanding of payment process flows and real-time payments

- NPP Messaging, Product rules and Participant Back Office requirements
