Casual On-Call Positions
As an Assistant Educator, you will be creating and maintaining fun, safe, engaging, and inviting learning environments, as well as maintaining excellent relationships with families, children, and other team members. It is required that you record children’s progress, routines, and interests, and ensure compliance with routines, policies, processes, and practices.
Our centre is located in the heart of Browns Plains, in Village Square Town Centre, close to all amenities including bus and taxi access, and within walking distance from Grand Plaza Shopping Centre. We are a supportive service where all children are individuals with their own needs, personalities, and traits. We educate children through play, using every opportunity to extend their skills and knowledge.
What you’ll need:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Experience in engaging children in fun activities such as exploring, making potions, and singing loudly with little ones
- Strong knowledge & understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Current & Valid Working with Children Check
- First Aid and CPR certificates, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
