This role features a hybrid work arrangement, with four days in the office to promote collaboration, build strong connections, and enhance team engagement. As the HR Business Partner, you will take on a pivotal role in shaping people strategies across our multi-site veterinary network. This dynamic position will see you managing the full employee lifecycle, leading change initiatives, and providing expert guidance on employee relations. Key Responsibilities
- Employee Lifecycle Management: Partner with managers to oversee key moments in the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, and offboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all.
- Employee Relations: Provide expert advice and guidance on complex employee matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and compliance with employment laws and policies. You’ll play a trusted role in helping managers navigate challenges and build strong, engaged teams.
- Workplace Wellbeing and Mental Health: Champion initiatives that promote mental health and wellbeing, providing resources and support to managers and teams to create a safe and supportive workplace.
- Policy and Compliance: Ensure that all practices comply with workplace laws, safety regulations, and company policies, proactively addressing potential risks and safeguarding the organisation.
- Driving HR Excellence: Act as a champion for VetPartners’ culture and values, helping to build a positive and inclusive work environment where employees feel valued and supported.
Skills, Attributes, and Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role.
- Demonstrated expertise in employee relations and change management.
- A background in multi-site operations and a commercial, solutions-focused mindset.
- Proven experience managing the full employee lifecycle, including remuneration reviews and recruitment.
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- A proactive approach to fostering workplace mental health and wellbeing initiatives.
