About the role The Used Equipment Sales team isresponsible for providing customers with "quality multi-pricepoint" used equipment, covering all industries and market segmentswith an international market perspective. This unique position, reporting tothe Senior Manager Used Equipment, supports the growth of thebusiness by procuring used equipment from across the globe andproactively driving sales of used equipment to customers who areinterstate and overseas. Duties and Responsibilities include: - Sourcing used equipment from brokers, end users andoverseas caterpillar dealerships to increase inventory forfuture sales - Working with shipping agents to support the coordination ofequipment transport and import - Establishing strong customer relationships, to effectivelymarket used equipment solutions to meets their operationalneeds - Developing a broad understanding of the market and factorsimpacting on sales opportunities to position the business forgrowth - Effectively negotiate with stakeholders to resolve customercomplaints, escalating where required - Contributing to the rebuild strategy by sourcing cores andmarketing rebuilds for sale - Meaningful maintenance of the Customer data base viaCRM About you: To be successful in this role, youwill have previous sales experience proactively driving customersolutions, while thinking strategically about how to maximiserevenue opportunities. You will also demonstrate: - A strong interest in heavy machinery and usedequipment. - Enjoy operating across the supply chain where you candemonstrate your excellent coordination and stakeholderengagement skills. - An interest in developing an understanding of internationalshipping, quarantine and Government requirements relating toimportation of used equipment into Australia. - Experience working effectively with a high degree ofautonomy. - Strong work ethic and ability to support peers in acollaborative team environment.
