CONDAMINE SPORTS CLUB OF WARWICK INC (also known as Condamine Sports Club) is looking for a full time Chefs and Cooks for their busy restaurant.
The Condamine Sports Club, located at 133 Palmerin Street in Warwick, Queensland, is a vibrant community hub offering a diverse range of amenities and services. Established on 24 June 1996 by five local sporting groups—Rugby League, Hockey, Netball, Cricket, and Rugby—the club has a rich history rooted in community collaboration. Housed in the heritage-listed Langham Hotel building, which dates back to 1912, the club seamlessly blends historical charm with modern facilities. Open daily from 10 am to 10 pm, the Condamine Sports Club caters to a variety of interests. The Sporties Grill & Bistro is renowned for its diverse menu, featuring daily specials and à la carte options, with members enjoying exclusive pricing. The Legends Bar offers a sleek, modern environment with a wide selection of beverages, including local and premium beers on tap.

To be considered for the role you need to have a relevant industry qualification and at least 1-2 years' experience in a similar position.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Must display excellent prep, cooking and plating skills
- Strong emphasis on quality and consistency of dishes
- Demonstrate a keen Interest in growing food trends and techniques
- Ability to contribute to menu planning, food cost estimation and food cost control
- Work with the management team on food preparation and seasonal menu planning
- Stock ordering
- Labour cost control and assist the owners with rostering
- A sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and WHS
- Immaculate presentation and grooming
- Ability to handle large service numbers
- Above average customer care and service skills
- Needs to be able to train our junior team on cooking techniques and procedures
- Assist with staff hiring and training
- Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
- Discuss customer requirements and request with the frost on house team.
