Overview

Are you ready to play? Join our team as Qualified Chef at The Gibson. The Chef reports to the Head Chef and is responsible for assisting chefs to provide the finest quality product which is presented in a timely and efficient manner and at all times maintaining a clean and hygienic workstation. Expand your knowledge on dishes working under our Head Chef, meet new people and join our Culinary team and contribute to our success.

Responsibilities

- Assist Head Chef and other culinary team to ensure all meals are served at appropriate times
- Maintain and re-order stock as required
- Ensure all routines are followed in accordance with company policy and procedures
- Strive to minimise food wastage

What we are looking for

- High level of cleanliness
- Prior proven experience as a cook in a fast paced high volume environment
- Good clear communication skills, with the ability to take direction
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and ask for assistance when required
- Availability to work a rotating 7-day roster (day and night)

About You

You will be an experienced Cook with prior experience in assisting a chef in a fast-paced environment. You will be passionate about food and providing a mouth-watering experience for our guests and contributing to fun and collaborative team environment.

Your role will be a valued addition to our team at The Gibson, and critical to meeting our guest expectations daily.
