Regulatory Training & Accreditation Focus to lead National Training Excellence.
As National Training Manager, you will play a pivotal role in building the capability and accreditation of our regulated workforce across all transport security environments. A core responsibility of this role is to ensure that all training programs and accreditation pathways are fully aligned with the requirements of the broader regulatory frameworks, including the Australian Government Screener Reform program, governing our industry. You will play a central role in elevating our national training standards and making our world Safer, Smarter, Better.
Your role is the lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs across our critical operations servicing the Aviation, Maritime and Critical Infrastructure clients and can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Adelaide.
The Opportunity
As the National Training Manager, you’ll take the lead in developing and executing training strategies for our Aviation, Maritime, and Critical Infrastructure teams that meetall regulatory standards. This role focuses on ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and continuous professional development. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to identify training needs and position Certis as a leader in workforce capability.

About You
- Proven experience in designing and delivering large-scale training programs, ideally in aviation, maritime, or critical infrastructure environments.
- Expertise in adult learning principles, instructional design, and compliance training.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across business units and with external partners.
- Advanced organizational and project management skills.
- Drive, ambition, and a passion for developing others.
- Experience with e-learning platforms and blended learning approaches.
- Relevant qualifications in Training & Assessment (e.g., TAE40116 or equivalent) highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement national training strategies aligned with business objectives and compliance requirements.
- Lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of training programs for Aviation, Maritime, and Critical Infrastructure teams.
- Ensure all training meets regulatory and client standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Collaborate with operational leaders to identify training needs and measure outcomes.
- Oversee the development of e-learning and blended learning solutions.
- Maintain accurate training records and reporting.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of training professionals.
- Drive innovation in training delivery and assessment.
