Are you an experienced construction leader ready to drive performance, safety, and innovation across a specialist business division? McMahon Services is seeking a General Manager to lead our Roofing & Cladding operations nationally.
Reporting to the Executive General Manager – Building & Construction, this key leadership role oversees all Asurco operations, driving strategic growth, operational excellence, financial performance, and a strong safety culture.

About the Role
As General Manager, you’ll provide strategic and operational leadership for our Roofing & Cladding division, ensuring all projects are delivered safely, on time, and profitably. You’ll drive business growth, strengthen client relationships, and lead a talented team of project and construction professionals.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping Asurco’s future, fostering excellence, innovation, and collaboration across the Building & Construction stream.
What You Will Do
- Lead Asurco’s strategic, financial, and operational performance.
- Oversee project delivery, budgets, and resource planning across all works.
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
- Ensure compliance with WHSEQ standards and McMahon Services’ safety systems.
- Manage commercial contracts, risk, and business improvement initiatives.
- Mentor, develop, and empower your team to achieve outstanding results.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in project delivery and systems.
What You Will Bring
- Minimum 10 years’ construction experience, including 5+ in senior leadership.
- Proven success in P&L management, business growth, and team performance.
- Strong understanding of contract management, risk, and WHSEQ compliance.
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Engineering, or Project Management.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- A proactive, collaborative, and results‑driven approach.
