The Business Intelligence & Analytics CoE (BI&A) plays a crucial role in delivering impactful insights across APAC. By analyzing each market-specific data and driving regional projects, we empower colleagues to make informed decisions. Through collaboration across APAC and with global partners, we provide a comprehensive view of market dynamics, enabling actionable strategy development.

Why this role?
This is a strategic and hands-on analyst role supporting Australia's Long-Range Forecasting and local business reporting within the pharmaceutical space. You'll work across immunology and broader therapeutic areas, leveraging complex data sets and patient-based forecasting models to deliver actionable insights for key stakeholders across Australia and APAC.

What you will do:

1. Patient Based Model operation/discussion:

- Discuss key assumptions for the forecasting model with relevant stakeholders and incorporate these accurately into the model.

- Conduct a comparative analysis to identify changes from the previous business planning model

- Update the model with the latest data as it becomes available to assess current
market dynamics and brand performance.

2. Local business report update and delivery

- Update the monthly business report with the latest data to share with the leadership team and commercial partners

- Include insights in the deliverables and coordinate any necessary follow-up actions with relevant stakeholders.

3. Support APAC-Initiated Projects

- Collaborate on regionally initiated projects, including :
1) establishing a harmonized forecasting model,
2) providing feedback and facilitation for harmonized primary market research,
3) conducting data validation and user acceptance testing for the newly developed data platform.

- You will provide analytical support and work closely with project teams to ensure seamless execution and communication across stakeholders.

Key Skills & Experience Required

- Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modelling, dashboards).
- Proven ability to analyze data, interpret trends, and deliver actionable insights, rather than focusing on coding or IT-heavy skills.

- Experience as a Commercial Analyst, preferably within FMCG/Pharma or retail industries.

- Strong understanding of the Australian FMCG/pharmaceutical market and data (preferred).

- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the flexibility to adapt to changing needs.
