Blending inner-city convenience with thoughtfully designed indoor-outdoor spaces, the service features open-air play areas and beautiful garden settings. Our purpose-built rooms create a bright, welcoming atmosphere that supports age-appropriate learning, play, and development.

Service: Clarence Street Long Day Care
Long Day Care Time: 6.30am – 6.00pm
Kindergarten Time: 8.30am - 2.45pm
Qualification Required: ACECQA approved Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services qualification or equivalent
Hourly Rate: $27.38 - $33.72 base rate (based on the qualification and experience)+ superannuation and Allowance/Benefits

- 175 Place Service
- 14 dynamic rooms to spark curiosity
- Individual spacious outdoor yard
- Onsite Parking

Key Responsibilities:

- Create engaging, educational activities that promote children's well-being.
- Ensure a safe, supportive environment for children to thrive.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.
- Promote the service in line with Catholic Early EdCare’s philosophy.
- Engage in professional development to grow personally and professionally.
- Foster a love of learning in children that will last a lifetime.
- Build strong relationships with families, educators, and the community.

Job Requirements:

- Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Knowledge and understanding of the childcare industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
- A passion for the education and care of children aged 6 weeks - Kindergarten aged in a play-based learning environment.
- Effective workplace communication skills
- Willingness to take the Child Protection Training
