Role: Electrician, Electrical Fitter. Must hold Electrical License

Location: St Mary/'s, NSW
Shift Schedule: Dayshift — Mon & Friday 9am to 5pm; Tue to Thu, 10am to 6pm

Are you a self-motivated Electrician looking for a change in pace? Not a morning person? Would a later start, later finish, Monday to Friday work well?

We are seeking applications from Electricians or Electrical Fitters who hold their Electrical License and are interested in expanding their skillset. No prior automation experience required — training is provided. You will join a provider of Mechanical and Electrical maintenance services to automation equipment in medium and large fulfillment centres. A positive, can-do attitude and strong interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be on a customer site and will need to learn and develop your current skillset.

About the Role

You will work exclusively on a customer site in St Mary/'s, a client fulfillment centre, performing preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of automation equipment, including shuttles and robotics. It is a hands-on role with direct interface to the customer during issues. You will need to communicate effectively during breakdowns to explain what is happening and what is being done to fix the problem.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute electrical planned preventive and reactive maintenance of all onsite electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Daily system audits.
- Build strong relationships with onsite team members.
- Develop relationships with customer contacts to ensure clear and concise communication during breakdowns.
- Undertake electrical repairs and component replacements.
- Use Microsoft Office to produce reports for internal team members.
- Log issues, problems and maintenance requirements in the company CMMS.
- Complete breakdown reports, shift logs, and issue logs according to internal protocols.
- Learn to troubleshoot and fault find on PLCs and related equipment.
- Maintain a clean, well-presented site workshop.
- Adhere to Australian OH&S regulations and internal and external policies.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.

Skills and Experience Required

- Australian Electrical License
- At least 3+ years post-apprenticeship experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a medium functional assessment and drug & alcohol screen
- Shift Schedule: Dayshift — Mon & Friday 9am to 5pm; Tue to Thu, 10am to 6pm
