A global leader in Rigid Plastic Packaging, Serioplast is seeking an Maintenance Electrical Technician for our plants in Ingleburn, NSW, Australia.

What will you do?

1. Ensure production continuity by maintaining machines, equipment, and facilities in compliance with health and safety regulations, company standards, and procedures.

2. Perform electrical installation and setup of machines and equipment (compressors, air conditioning, dryers, leak tests, cameras, palletizers, etc.).

3. Conduct regular inspections, check parameters, detect and replace worn parts, and request necessary spare parts or technical support from suppliers.

4. Perform preventive maintenance according to the maintenance plan.

5. Execute emergency repairs to restore machine and equipment functionality during breakdowns or failures.

6. Assist external suppliers during inspections, servicing, and maintenance activities.

7. Maintain records of maintenance activities to monitor equipment lifespan and spare parts.

8. Organize and manage workshop operations, including repairing and fabricating mechanical parts using workshop tools.

9. Support the Technical Manager in improvement projects related to machines, equipment, molds, and processes.

What are we looking for?

1. Strong knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, and electronic systems.

2. Familiarity with plastic molding technologies (EBM, SBM, IM).

3. Understanding of WCM standards.

4. Basic knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment regulations.

5. Ability to operate manual and electric forklifts.

6. At least 3 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
