About the Role
Due to ongoing growth and increased demand from our clients across the construction, civil, labourer, and outdoor industries, we have an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Consultant within these sectors.
This is a hands on, candidate facing role covering the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to placement. You will collaborate closely with Account Managers and Business Development Managers nationally, primarily supporting clients in construction, civil engineering, and related outdoor labour industries.
As a key member of the team, your focus will be on attracting and engaging top talent while building strong, trusted relationships with both candidates and clients. This role is highly rewarding and dynamic, providing you with the opportunity to connect skilled workers with career defining roles.
The environment is fast paced and high volume, requiring agility and attention to detail to maintain quality service delivery. We provide ongoing mentoring and training to help you succeed and grow.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with candidates across construction, civil, labourer, and outdoor sectors
- Manage all aspects of recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placement
- Evaluate candidates’ skills, qualifications, and career goals to ensure the best fit for client requirements
- Ensure compliance with recruitment processes and legal standards
- Gather market intelligence on candidate availability, motivation, and trends within the outdoor and construction labour markets
What You Bring
- Minimum 2 years’ experience recruiting within Blue Collar or labour-intensive industries (construction, civil, outdoor labour preferred)
- Proven track record in a target driven & KPI focused environment
- Strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with candidates, clients, and internal teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Persistence, resilience, and a positive attitude to achieve recruitment outcomes
- A willingness to learn, collaborate, and contribute positively to the team culture
