Join the Perth Racing team and work amongst our famous race day action. Perth Racing is seeking experienced Baristas / Café Counterhands and Cooks to join our vibrant and fast-paced team for the Ascot Racing Carnival. As a casual employee, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our popular food and café outlets. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fun, social environment. The atmosphere is electric, and you can be part of the excitement that is unique to Perth Racing.

What is the Role? We are looking for team players with café and fast food experience who are focused on customer service and work well in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, can follow procedures, and who shine when things get busy and energetic. Every event is different at Perth Racing, so flexibility and adaptability are key.

Responsibilities

- Use your customer service skills to provide patrons with a personalized and memorable experience
- Café and fast food preparation and cooking in accordance with food safety and hygiene protocols
- Making high quality coffee at a consistently fast pace
- Cash handling & POS operation
- Maintain cleanliness and condition of coffee machine and working area

Qualifications

- Relevant experience in reputable venues
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast paced environment
- High standard of personal presentation
- Availability to work Saturday day shifts
- Safe Food Handler/ Safety Training
