The Team: The Launceston General Hospital is Tasmania's second largest hospital with a busy elective and emergency service. The LGH works closely with the University of Tasmania and is a major clinical teaching and research centre. The Role: The NUM of JMDC provides leadership and ensures efficient and effective provision of care based on clinical standards and best practice principles within a collaborative and multidisciplinary team. You will need - The successful applicant will demonstrate knowledge of and experience in contemporary nursing practice and advanced knowledge, skills and experience in medical ward nursing. - The NUM of JDMC will have strong leadership and decision making skills with a capability of understanding the business of the organisation, business unit and practice. - The successful applicant will demonstrate initiative, resilience and capability to establish and maintain relationships and partnerships across all disciplines. Details of appointment: Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing 6 December 2025. *notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Salary:$122,365 to $129,060 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. - Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023. In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: - Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10 % based on qualification type Salary Packaging: You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
