We are currently seeking a suitably experienced Project Engineer to join our growing team at Great Fingall. This is a permanent full time role on an 8/6 roster.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures & statutory requirements.
- Ensure mining physicals are achieved as per contract/client schedules.
- Ensure client requirements are met contractually whilst maintaining a positive and collaborative relationship with the client.
- Use analysis and implementation of cost reduction initiatives.
- Use analysis and implementation of revenue generating initiatives.
- Management of Site Finances.
- Short Term Scheduling of Operations.
- Production Monitoring.
- Monthly performance reporting.
- Quality Assurance programme management.
- Budget preparation.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly claims and interface with the client.
- Deputise for the Mine Foreman when requested.
- Tertiary degree in Mining Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of underground mining operations.
- Ability to communicate and liaise with both employees and client site management.
- Ability to identify potential hazards and minimise risks.
- Ability to schedule labour.
- Sound understanding of appropriate statutory and mining regulations.
