Overview
We are looking for a Greenkeeper to join our award-winning Golf Course.
Shellharbour City Council has an exciting opportunity for a skilled, experienced and qualified Greenkeeper to join the team at The Links, Shell Cove. This position is part of the course maintenance team and is primarily responsible for the maintenance and presentation of the golf course and surrounding areas, including the mini golf precinct, practice range and the clubhouse.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and present playing surfaces and surrounding areas to a high standard
- Assist in establishing, maintaining and improving playing surfaces
- Provide guidance to apprentices, labourers and work experience employees
- Maintain facilities, equipment and working spaces with a high level of care
- Deliver excellent customer service when engaging with customers
- Collaborate as part of a team and be flexible to work various shifts including weekends, evenings and public holidays as required
- Support a positive team environment and contribute to the professional maintenance program
Qualifications
- Have completed a Certificate III Sports Turf Management
- Have a passion for the industry, turf maintenance, golf or both

The Links Shell Cove is a unique and picturesque golf course located in the Illawarra region on the South Coast of NSW, located just 80 minutes south of Sydney. It features a well-maintained mini golf course, a dynamic driving range, a fully stocked golf pro shop, and a cozy café and tavern for the community.

What we offer
- Permanent full time, 38 hours per week with the opportunity to work a 9-day fortnight
- May include weekends, evenings and public holidays based on operational requirements
- Salary range from $65,163 - $69,151 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)
- Adverse working conditions allowance (Level 1) of $19.49 per week
- Plus 12% superannuation
