This is an exciting opportunity to join a skilled and supportive team at Settlers Run Golf & Country Club. Our Greg Norman–designed course is undergoing significant improvements through capital works and seasonal projects, aimed at elevating the quality of playing surfaces and enhancing the member experience. A genuine passion for turf management, combined with enthusiasm and commitment, is key to succeeding in this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Operation and basic maintenance of turf-care machinery and equipment
- Mowing, bunker maintenance, turf renovation, and irrigation duties
- Performing general grounds maintenance tasks such as edging, trimming, and weeding
- Assisting with the upkeep and presentation of tees, fairways, and greens
- Identifying and addressing issues with turf and grounds in an initiative-taking manner
- Working as part of a team to achieve course presentation goals
- Adhering to workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times

Skills & Experience

- Previous experience in greenkeeping, turf management, or grounds maintenance (golf course experience highly regarded)
- Ability to operate a wide range of turf equipment (mowers, tractors, utility vehicles, etc.)
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work flexibly (including weekends/public holidays when required)
- Eye for detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
