The Company

This is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking not-for-profit showing continual growth in a frequently evolving market. You will be based in the heart of Melbourne CBD and have the opportunity to work with new technologies and interesting projects.

The Role

This 6 month contract role is to initially assist with a Windows 11 deployment project. You will then be providing infrastructure systems administration as well as cloud administration across their M365 and Azure environments. You will be providing level 3 end user support, escalation support for the level 1 team and you will be monitoring, maintaining and administering the infrastructure environment. You will also assist in vendor work validation from an Azure cloud and security perspective.

Although it isn't guaranteed, there may be an opportunity for you to convert to a permanent employee after the contract, or for your contract to be extended.

Your Skills & Experience

- Relevant tertiary qualifications, including at least 5 years of IT systems administration experience, with at least 2 years in a cloud focused role.
- Proficient in administering Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune endpoint management and Intune application packaging and deployment.
- Windows 11 deployment experience.
- Management of EntraID and on-prem Active Directory.
- Experience managing Veeam backups.
- Previous experience monitoring and maintaining Windows Server 2016-2022, Windows 10/11 endpoints and Azure Virtual Desktop.
- Providing level 2/3 troubleshooting end user support.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of implementing and monitoring security controls across Azure and on-prem infrastructure.
- Strong understanding on cloud security principles and Azure Security Centre.
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
