MYER is looking for a Category Marketing Manager – Beauty. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager – Beauty you will be responsible for supporting the marketing and commercial performance of Myer’s Beauty portfolio, spanning skincare, fragrance, makeup, wellness, and haircare.

This is a hands-on role that blends campaign coordination with commercial insight, cross-functional collaboration, and strong process ownership — ensuring all beauty campaigns and initiatives are delivered on time, on brand and in line with business priorities.

About the role:

- Partner with the Beauty Buying and Planning teams to understand trade priorities, product launches, and promotional opportunities.
- Translate commercial and category plans into clear, actionable marketing briefs.
- Support the planning and execution of 360° beauty marketing campaigns, including seasonal events, brand launches, promotional activations and exclusive brand moments.
- Collaborate with external (e.g. creative) and internal teams (e.g.) eComm, digital, loyalty, social to deliver consistent messaging and impactful customer journeys.
- Own process with team on campaign timelines, approvals, and asset management — ensuring seamless execution across digital and physical channels.
- Support the marketing onboarding of new brand partners into the Myer Beauty portfolio.
- Collaborate with the Buying team and external partners to understand brand positioning, launch requirements and timelines.
- Develop marketing launch plans in alignment with brand strategies and Myer’s customer expectations, including creative briefing and asset management and coordination.
- Ensure new brands are integrated into key customer touchpoints such as eCommerce, social, loyalty, events, and in-store communications.
- Support the management and tracking of the marketing budget, ensuring campaigns are delivered within allocated spend.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics including traffic, engagement, conversion and ROI.

About you:

- Extensive experience in retail, category or brand marketing, ideally within beauty, fashion.
- Strong understanding of marketing campaign development, retail calendars and the beauty category landscape.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
- Experience working with or alongside buying, planning, creative and digital teams.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail, follow-through and process orientation.
- Proficiency with marketing systems and tools (e.g. Wrike, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Collaborative, solution-focused and agile in approach.
- Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field
- Previous experience in a large retail or omnichannel organisation
- Experience coordinating co-branded campaigns with external partners or vendors
- Understanding of loyalty marketing, influencer/content integration, and retail promotional mechanics (e.g. GWP, launches)
