Description:

"Firetection" is the Fire Services Division of Hix Group, a Penrith Based Trades Services Business which has been in operation for more than 32 years and now employs over 100 valued team members across 6 divisions.

We service a range of clients including Local Government, Social Housing, Strata and Commercial with a focus on Western Sydney and throughout the Sydney Metropolitan area.

We are seeking someone who has experience in the Fire Services Industry, great leadership and organisation skills to join us in the role of:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and productivity-focused leader who can manage and oversee at an operational level to ensure:

1. Efficient and cost-effective operation of the Services team providing Fire Services Testing and Inspection, Passive Fire Services, Repairs & Programmed maintenance both ad hoc and contract arrangements.
2. High level client service & business effectiveness in line with legislative requirements & standards for essential fire services and programmed maintenance.
3. Effective and timely utilisation of all qualified and experienced team members, ensuring maximum billable hours are utilised and client requirements are always met.
4. Strong leadership of the administrative team to ensure all systems, documentation, reporting and invoicing is effectively delivered in line with legislation, client requirements and company policies and procedures.

You will need to be:

- Experienced in the Fire Services industry and have a strong knowledge of the requirements of this field, ideally with some qualifications or experience as a technician (but not essential) or Service Supervisor/Manager.
- Demonstrated strong leadership skills with a clear focus on procedures that are optimal for productivity of the service team.
- Available to work full time in the office along with our Administrative, Sales and Supervisory team members, utilising our Electronic Job Management System - (SIMpro).
- Focused on compliance and legislative requirements whilst being committed to effective utilisation of the team members to meet client needs.
- A strong communicator, both written and verbal with well-developed computer skills.
