Your role?

TheLead Roto/PaintArtistis responsibleformakingsurethe paint/rototeamdeliversalltherequestedelementsinatimelyfashionandacts asliaisonbetween Productionandthecrew.

What will you be doing?

- Assiststhe Producer, CG Supervisors & Production Managers withbiddingandscheduling

- AttendsDailies andfollowsupwithteamregardingtheir notes,fixes,etc.

- AttendsProductionmeetings

- Assignsshotstoappropriateartists

- Providescleardirectionandprioritiestocrew

- Monitorsshotandsequenceprogress

- Motivates andempowerscrewtomeetdeadlines

- Identifiesproblems andeffectivelyimplementssolutions

- Qualitycontrolonelements delivered tocompositors

- Fastandefficient paint/rotooncomplexshotsas needed ortimeallows

- Interviewsandreviewspotentialcandidates when required.

- Mentors lessexperienced artists

To be a contributing member of this team, you will have a mix of these skills:

- At least4+yearsonfeaturefilmVFXworkalone,notincludingstereoconversionexperience
