THE ROLE

Cargo Crew is looking for a motivated and organised Junior Marketing Assistant to join our team 2 days a week. This entry-level role is perfect for a current university student or someone starting out in their marketing career who’s eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced creative team.

Working closely with our Marketing team, you’ll support the day-to-day running of content, social media, and advertising projects — from keeping things organised behind the scenes to contributing fresh ideas for Instagram and TikTok trends.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and organise content assets, ensuring everything is filed and easy to access.

- Support content production across photoshoots, reels, TikToks and behind-the-scenes projects.

- Track TikTok trends and contribute fresh, creative ideas for social media campaigns.

- Write engaging, on-brand captions tailored for each social media channel.

- Schedule and publish content across all platforms, maintaining a consistent presence.

- Handle community management by engaging with followers and responding to DMs, comments and requests.

- Assist with paid Meta advertising.

- Create monthly reports on social media performance and activity.

- Provide general marketing and administrative support as needed.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- Currently studying (or recently completed) a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media or similar — or simply keen to kickstart a career in the creative industry

- Highly organised with great attention to detail.

- A self-starter who loves brainstorming ideas and spotting trends online.

- Familiar with TikTok, Instagram and Meta platforms.

- Positive, team-focused attitude with a willingness to learn.
