Senior Salesforce Developer
- Industry leader in the Australian tertiary education sector
- 6 Month Day-Rate Contract role - high likelihood of ongoing extensions
- Hybrid work arrangement - 2 days per week in Melbourne CBD office, 3 days WFH
Please Note: Due to the nature of the role, Candidates Must be based in Melbourne and must be Permanent Residents or Australian Citizens to be considered for this role.

What you'll bring?
- Extensive Salesforce Development experience (at least 5+ years) in cloud environments
- Experience across Salesforce architecture, integration and development
- Migration project experience
- Extensive experience developing custom Apex Classes and Apex Triggers
- Strong hands-on experience with the likes of Lightning Component Framework, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Lightning Design System and Lightning App Builder
- Experience designing custom API's
- Experience formulating and presenting POC's
- Experience with salesforce development best practices and secure coding practices
- Excellent communication, team-work problem solving skills
Nice to Have
- Any Salesforce Certifications
- Any integration experience leveraging Salesforce and Mulesoft capabilities
- Any OmniScript experience
What you'll be doing?
- Contributing to Salesforce architecture, integration and development as part of a new migration project that is ramping up
- Assisting the team in migrating from HEDA to Education Cloud
- Collaborating with a newly formed project team
- Formulating and presenting POC's to the project team
- Working on a variety of projects involved in the migration project including; implementing new features, continuous enhancements and platform improvements
- Writing clean code using Apex Classes and Apex Triggers
- Configuring security related configuration components
- Enhancing integrations leveraging Salesforce and Mulesoft capabilities
- Working with the Salesforce Release Manager to enable a streamlined release cycle
- Developing high-quality documentation of the designs and solutions being implemented
- Contributing to the overall technical environment as part of this migration program
