Business & System Analyst - Shared Services - IT

Reporting to the Delivery & Process Improvement Manager, your responsibilities will include:

- Business Analysis Capabilities - Work collaboratively with a diverse range of business and technical stakeholders to ensure requirements are well articulated and understood
- Contribute to and facilitate a cohesive and productive working model between the Business Teams, the vendor (Clickhome) and the broader Technology & Risk team
- Facilitate a successful working model with the business, to be known to the business and called upon at the appropriate time in the ideation cycle
- Assess where requirements are not in a ready state for App Support / Clickhome Tech / developers and then complete additional work to frame them to the right level
- Strategic Thinking - Be a thought leader for Business and Technology groups through utilization of professional experience and established networks
- Working closely with Solution Architects to ensure proposed solutions integrate into the current and future-state technology environment.
- Ensure all work is appropriately prioritized in line with risk, loss or inefficiency
- Customer & Commercial Focus - Demonstrate customer focus and a customer-first attitude, ensuring customer satisfaction across the Clickhome, Technology & Risk and Business teams.
- Demonstrate sufficient consideration of the Metricon’s needs as driven by business strategy, ensuring compliance between business direction, enterprise transformation activities and technology directions.
- Apply a commercial focus on all work to ensure that the desired business outcomes are met.
- Evaluate the business benefits/impacts and understands how the overall intent manifests itself in immediate activities and demands.
- Demonstrate commercial awareness, understanding how actions contribute to improving Business effectiveness and controlling costs

The successful candidate will have:

- 5-10 years IT experience with 5 + years as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst, ideally including experience in the Residential Construction industry
- Strong problem solving and facilitation skills to drive an outcome
- Ability to switch between working with Business teams to define requirements for critical quick wins and being part of a larger project based requirements effort
- Experience in translating requirements into system specifications, user stories, features, tasks and testable acceptance criteria
- Experience working with an established Scrum team and an Agile environment, and identifying elements to improve and extend
- Experience in facilitating agile meetings such as sprint reviews and backlog grooming
- Experience in working with a technically diverse team and business stakeholders
- Experience writing user stories, features and epics
- Experience writing acceptance criteria aligned and demonstratable to Business Outcomes
- Mature Documentation skills
- Experience using Ticket Tracking Tools (e.g. JIRA, VSTS/Azure DevOps)
- Experience as a BA involving SDLC of projects (design, development, testing, deployment)
- Strong stakeholder engagement (business users, developers and QA)
- A naturally curious approach and strong analysis skills
- Knowledge/familiarity of some programming concepts (database, API)
- Demonstrated track record utilising industry standard best practice BA techniques
- Experience working within both Waterfall and Agile project methodologies
- Experience working with multiple business areas and a variety of stakeholders
- Successfully delivered major business and technology solutions end to end
- A Pragmatic approach to delivery in response of business demand
- Ability to provide solutions and be resourceful
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related discipline
- Sound knowledge of Business Analysis principles
- Systems Thinking capabilities
- Six Sigma or equivalent process efficiency and excellence
