
Electrical and Infrastructure Maintenance Lead

About The Role
Reporting to the Superintendent Maintenance, you will be responsible for executing the planned maintenance and repairs safely, effectively, and efficiently to support the asset maintenance strategy and long-term asset plan. You will focus on continuous improvement to drive costs down to invest in brownfield growth that is justifiable with a focus on keeping the assets/plants sustainable.
Responsibilities
- Lead the maintenance and operational team as required in the day-to-day performance of electrical related equipment, and manage the non-process infrastructure
- Maximise the ratio of electrical proactive, predictive, and preventive maintenance tasks to breakdown maintenance tasks
- Maintain integrity through planning process and ensure work is aligned with plant requirements
- Troubleshoot daily plant and equipment issues through application of trades skills and fault-finding techniques
- Foster a work environment and culture with strong focus on safety across the team
- Develop an annual budget (R&M, Capital, and major repairs) that supports the maintenance strategy
- Ensure all maintenance and repair activities are safely managed and completed on time and within the approved budget
To Be Successful In This Role You Will Have
- Electrical trade or Electrical tertiary qualifications
- Demonstrated experience and/or understanding of maintenance planning, supervision and maintenance leadership in a mining, process plant or heavy manufacturing industry
- Experience in front-line leadership or supervisory role
- SAP experience highly regarded
