Support Worker (Casual) – Multiple Sydney Locations Available

About the Role

These Support Worker positions are offered on a casual basis, allowing for a flexible work schedule that can accommodate your commitments and lifestyles.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Providing support to improve independence by assisting with living skills, transport, social activities, medication, and personal care.

- Keeping customer records up to date using online systems.

- Developing and maintaining professional relationships with people, families, caregivers, and key stakeholders.

- Assisting in the development or implementation of client care plans.

To Be Successful in This Role

You are punctual, friendly, non-judgmental, empathetic, and compassionate. You are invested in providing the highest quality in disability services and are competent in working with people with a disability.

Requirements

- Qualification in Disability, Community Services, Individual Support or equivalent relevant experience.

- Valid NSW Drivers C class license, with the ability to drive vehicles in license class, including large cars and vans.

- Must be fit to undertake the physical requirements of client support, including the capacity to lift 10 kg unassisted.

- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and other common computer based systems.

Desirable

- Experience in disabilities or mental health conditions.

- Advanced knowledge of services and programs under NDIS.

- Strong understanding of Person-Centered Practices.
