Confluence Water, a Ventia, Downer and Jacobs Joint Venture, is one of three Regional Delivery Partnerships providing services for Sydney Water. We work hard to ensure that Sydney Water keeps running for people who live in the North Region of Sydney - rain, hail or shine. We are often the first to reach an emergency during severe weather events and we are responsible for the delivery of an unprecedented pipeline of capital works over the next 10 years.

Confluence Water delivers design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services which stretches from Sydney Harbour to the Hawkesbury River and includes the Hills Shire.

We are committed to delivering sustainable and innovative water solutions. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated Snr People & Culture Business Partner to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our organisation's culture, talent strategy, and employee experience.

Role Overview: As a People & Culture Business Partner at Confluence Water, you will play a critical role in shaping our company's culture and driving employee engagement, development, and retention. You will work closely with business leaders and teams to align people strategies with our organisational goals, ensuring we attract, retain, and develop top talent while fostering an inclusive and supportive environment. Location: Based at Chatswood, with site presence across our footprint 1-2 days per week (driver's licence essential).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Partner with leadership teams to design and execute people strategies that drive organizational performance and align with Confluence Water's values.
2. Lead and support talent acquisition initiatives to attract top talent for diverse roles across the organisation.
3. Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations, performance management, and employee engagement.
4. Develop and implement programs focused on leadership development, career progression, and employee retention.
5. Support change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and fostering a positive employee experience during organisational shifts.
6. Analyze people data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas to drive organisational growth and/or improvement.
7. Act as a trusted advisor to employees, providing coaching, conflict resolution, and support as needed.
