Position Overview Being voted a Top 5 employer requires a strong focus on people and culture – where else would a HR Professional rather be Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, this newly created role will play a pivotal role in delivering HR excellence and partnering across the business.
We are a growing organisation, therefore at times there is a significant focus on talent acquisition.
Outside of this, the People & Culture Partner supports and manages a wide range of human resources initiatives across performance management, L&D, engagement, employee relations and generalist HR support.
Overall, this role is key in ensuring smooth HR operations while fostering a positive and engaging workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition Management Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including advertising, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring for various roles.
Promote the company's culture and values to enhance employer brand presence.
Manage the onboarding process & ensure a seamless and positive candidate journey from application to onboarding.
Generalist Responsibilities HR Projects & initiatives: Support in the delivery of HR and change management initiatives.
Performance Management: Contribute to the management of the performance review & goal setting process including support managers in setting performance objectives, coaching and conducting performance reviews.
Learning & Development: Implementation of training programs, Identify suitable training partners, ensure training & development is scheduled and executed in a timely manner.
Employee Engagement & Culture: Support the execution of culture initiatives including management of engagement surveys and exit interviews.
Employee Relations & compliance: Provide coaching, guidance and support for managers and employees across all facets of People & Culture.
E.g.
manage performance, HR policies & legal compliance, leadership, and compliance, leave management.
Qualifications & Requirements: Degree qualified in Human Resource Management or related field.
Previous experience in a similar role, requiring management of all People and Culture related activities.
Strong experience in recruitment and managing talent acquisition pipelines.
Sound knowledge of Employment laws and HR best practices.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and business engagement skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
A lot of energy and desire to make an impact.
What you need to succeed: Experience working in a lending environment, preferably SME or equipment finance loans.
Experience working with Brokers or third party origination channels highly desirable.
