If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you This is a brand-new position that offers you the chance to help make our Distribution Centre (DC) a gold standard site

As a DC Training Specialist at our Brendale DC, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the capabilities of our team members, including SRG and Labour Hire staff. Your mission will be to coach and mentor Team Managers, ensuring that our standards and capabilities are consistently elevated.

Key Responsibilities

1. Innovative Training: Deliver engaging orientation and induction programs.

2. Capability Building: Support DC labour capability through comprehensive training and assessments.

3. Coaching: Uplift individual and collective performance against business performance requirements.

4. Skill Development: Proactively manage skill gaps and training needs in collaboration with the DC Leadership and the Learning Manager.

5. Training Coordination: Coordinate training schedules and attendance.

About You

We are looking for an energetic and vibrant individual who can bring enthusiasm and a positive attitude to inspire and motivate the team. You will have the ability to confidently guide and realign team members to ensure adherence to standards. In addition, you will have the following:

- Experience working within a DC/Warehouse in a high-volume, multi-brand, retail or 3PL distribution/logistics environment, or retail stores.

- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor individuals from diverse backgrounds, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.

- Proven ability to effectively train and develop internal and labour hire staff, ensuring they meet performance standards and excel in their roles.

- Understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislation.

- Experience with hazard identification, incident management, and investigation.

- Nice to have: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

- Exposure to Manufacturing Excellence, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma (Statistical Process Control) environments is highly regarded.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role.
