Are you someone who thrives on helping others learn and grow in a safety-focused environment? As our WHS Trainer, you’ll play a key role in building a strong safety culture through learning at our Vales Point Power Station.

You’ll design and deliver engaging health and safety training that empowers our people to work safely and confidently every day.

What You’ll Do:

- Create and Deliver Training: Develop and run engaging programs on topics like manual handling, emergency response and more. You’ll also coordinate external providers and create blended learning solutions including e-learning modules.

- Engage with Stakeholders: Work closely with leaders and teams to identify training needs, offer expert advice and ensure learning strategies align with business goals.

- Drive Continuous Improvement: Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback, assessments and incident data. You’ll recommend improvements and help foster a positive learning culture across the site.

- Keep Things on Track: Maintain accurate training records, monitor completion rates and prepare reports on compliance and learning outcomes. You’ll also support audits with relevant documentation.

What You’ll Bring:

- Qualifications in Work Health and Safety, Training and Assessment or a related field

- Experience developing and delivering WHS training programs

- A solid understanding of WHS legislation and compliance

- Strong communication and facilitation skills

- Confidence using learning management systems and Microsoft Office

Ideally, you’ll have the following:

- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design

- Experience with risk management and incident investigation

- Familiarity with e-learning tools
