A leading organisation in the public education sector is seeking a Change Analyst to play a pivotal role in supporting several ICT initiatives for six month contract with possible extension.

Responsibilities
- Assess how changes in ICT systems impact various teams across the organisation, identifying risks early to facilitate smooth transitions.
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels to understand their needs, manage concerns sensitively, and keep them actively involved throughout each phase of change.
- Evaluate organisational readiness for change and provide empathetic support to teams as they navigate resistance or uncertainty.
- Document comprehensive change plans, impact assessments, communications strategies, and lessons learned to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.
- Support the design and delivery of communication materials and training resources tailored to different audiences affected by the change.
- Define clear success metrics for change initiatives and report progress regularly to leadership teams, ensuring accountability and shared understanding.
- Gather feedback from stakeholders and use these insights to refine change strategies as programs evolve over time.
- Work closely with project managers and business units to align change activities with overall program goals.
- Facilitate workshops or meetings that encourage open dialogue about upcoming changes, promoting trust and cooperation among participants.
- Maintain detailed records of stakeholder interactions and feedback to inform future change management efforts.
Experience required
- Proven experience working as a Change Analyst, Change Lead or Change Manager within large programs of work supporting multiple projects.
- Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels using considerate communication skills that build trust and understanding.
- Experience working in fast-paced project environments where adaptability and responsiveness are essential for success.
- Familiarity with established change management frameworks such as Prosci or ADKAR, applying best practices in real-world scenarios.
- Strong documentation skills including preparing impact assessments, communication plans, training materials, and lessons learned reports.
- Ability to evaluate organisational readiness for change and provide supportive guidance that helps teams overcome resistance.
- Experience gathering stakeholder feedback and using it constructively to improve change strategies over time.
- Background in education or public service sectors is highly regarded but not mandatory; transferable skills from other industries are welcome.
- Capacity for empathetic listening combined with analytic thinking when addressing concerns or challenges related to change initiatives.
