Responsibilities
Bring Joy Through Connection Italian-Speaking Volunteer Visitor
This lovely lady finds comfort in the familiar rhythms of her culture — watching Italian films, reading the Italian newspaper, and attending Mass on TV.
She would truly cherish the company of someone who shares her language and understands the little things that bring her joy. Just a friendly chat, a shared story, or simply sitting together could mean the world to her.
If you speak Italian and have a warm heart and a little time to give, your presence could brighten her days in a beautiful way.
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements
18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare
We/'d be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one hour visit between 9am and 5pm Monday to Sunday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
